We had a wonderful surprise birthday party for our pastor's wife and it just happened to be one
of those 'big' birthday years.
We brought gifts for her as well as had everyone donate something that was
near and dear to her heart....children. We donated gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves to children in our
community as way of honoring our pastor's wife. The cake had a picture of her imprinted on it from one of the
first years she was at the church. There were testimonies and stories of her given by friends and family.

There's a theme we do that the ladies love: TABLE TALK, I set up for tables dealing w/ family, kids, wedding & baby-
using tablecloth, candles & flower, oh soft worship music. Intimate setting. It's always a hit. Craft table-
we made stress ball w/ balloons filling it up with flour and tagging it with casting your cares as a label.

I have been asked to lead the Women's Ministries at Kingston Church. I have asked three ladies (one each: young,
middle and mature) to assist me, and we are starting with a "slumber party" Oct. 14 because there was a slumber party
last year at the church (that was a rousing success), and everyone has been asking to have another. We've also
been working to get a group to go to the brunch. I was just told that our church has had a table at the craft show
before to raise funds for our ministry. I'm excited about our activities, and welcome any help and suggestions!
